Norhtgate Help Desk
I am part of the Northgate Help Desk, a student-run genius bar and IT support program. Our tasks include but are not limited to: building teacher websites, keeping a biweekly blog, creating tutorial screencasts, reviewing apps, discussing the latest developments in the tech world, and working on a semesterly Individual Learning Endeavor. The goal of the class is to help Northgate adjust to the 21st century's technological demands by promoting computer use in and outside of the classroom, supporting the development of new teacher-student communication systems, and transforming the way students and teachers think about how technology can affect their education and their lives.
